Job Description
As a Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the enrollment process for clients, handling canceled client files, and negotiating early payments. Your responsibilities include processing payments, updating other departments on approvals or rejections, and maintaining accurate records of declined payments and outstanding invoices. You will also be responsible for updating client statuses based on their payment behavior, modifying payment plans as needed, and providing payment receipts and invoices upon request.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the enrollment process for clients.
- Close files of canceled clients.
- Negotiate with clients for early payments.
- Process requested payments and update other departments on approvals or rejections.
- Update client statuses based on payment behavior.
- Modify payment plans for clients within resolution plan guidelines.
- Send payment receipts and invoices to clients upon request.
- Maintain systematic tracking of declined payments and recapture them.
Qualifications:
- Efficient multitasking ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the capability to propose and implement solutions for streamlined billing processes.
- Keen attention to detail, especially when reviewing payment records, invoices, and client communications.
- Accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Utilize data analysis skills to improve billing processes and reduce errors.
- Ability to analyze payment data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Effective collaboration with team members, particularly in situations requiring task completion assistance.
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. EST
- Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST
- Weekends: Rotating Saturdays - Sundays Off
